From The renovation of Bethlehem Cottage, is an example of a project which has benefited from the professional guidance, skills and experience of ‘Cynllun Ni / Our Design’ – from feasibility to completion.

To begin, the brief included an initial schedule of condition which enabled us to better understand the true condition of the property and the extent of works required. Having confirmed condition, Barry swiftly moved the project forward by obtaining the relevant planning consents and building regulation approvals.

Following this, Barry proceeded to prepare a full schedule of works, with measurements and drawings, and oversaw the tendering process. Once a suitable contractor had been appointed, project management was also entrusted to Barry. This work included the preparation and execution of contracts, regular site visits & progress reports, staged valuations & payments, and approval of works upon completion.

Whilst the prospect of renovation initially seemed somewhat daunting, Barry’s professional guidance and services ensured that the project was completed smoothly and efficiently. The end result has given the tired and dated old cottage a new lease of life and brought an empty property back into residential use. We are already looking forward to working with Barry on other projects in the near future and would highly recommend the services of “Our Design / Cynllyn ni” to others.
